Glastonbury to Glasgow (Finnieston Crane) Charity Walk
Created by Rachael 3 years agoAmy’s dad Martin decided to do a charity walk from our home town Glastonbury to Glasgow (ending at Finnieston crane) back on March 8th of this year. He made good progress and in 8 days walked an incredible 160 miles to the small town of Tarporley in Cheshire.
Unfortunately the coronavirus pandemic struck and he understandably came home to be with his family at this time.
On July 11th when lock down had eased he started up again from Tarporley. Over the next 10 days he completed the remaining 230 odd miles to Finnieston Crane in Glasgow.
He has raised over £10000 for Asthma UK and we are all very proud of him. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your donations, love and support. We are again overwhelmed 💙💙💙
